YWCA of Kitsap County is my September-November 2012 Featured Charity!

YWCA of Kitsap county offers YWCA ALIVE (Alternatives to Living In a Violent Environment). Programs provide temporary-emergency housing and a “safety net” of supportive services for families affected by domestic violence. Annually, over 6,000 Kitsap community members access YWCA services. When I think of the amazing and wonderful work done by the YWCA of Kitsap county, I think of the hope and potential which exists in even the darkest circumstances. For me, that feeling evokes images of lotus flowers which grow out the dirtiest of environments- their beauty unblemished by their surroundings.  So, for this charity I’ve developed number of items featuring lotus flowers. Pendants, earrings, hair clips and more… keep checking back.
